Dear Friends,

I'm a few days past my usual mailing date, but with today's news, I hope you'll find the wait worthwhile. All the pieces have finally begun to fall into place, and I can now announce that I am at work on two new recordings! As mentioned in my last newsletter, there are now concrete plans for a third CD to complete a three-part set of classical new age piano releases, a trilogy which began with the albums From My Heart and Seasons of the Heart. The content of the surprise bonus CD to which I alluded, can now be announced as well. This fall I will be releasing a 12-track Christmas album, with a mix of original compositions and arrangements of traditional melodies. This special CD will be packaged for the holidays in an environmentally friendly, old-style cardboard sleeve (for those of you who remember record albums!). The final CD in the trilogy is scheduled to be released in 2008.

It's still a bit overwhelming, but reality is sinking in fast. Although it’s very exciting, there's a lot of work to be done between here and there. I'm absolutely thrilled at the chance to be working with Mountain Road Recording again. Dan Wright has graciously agreed to be back on board with his brilliant graphics skills, and DeSoto Productions will once again be doing the actual production work, once the master recordings are finished. As with my other recordings, CDBaby.com will remain my primary distributor, but you’ll also be able to purchase the recordings directly from me, via Amazon.com, and through your favourite digital download outlet.

By the time you receive this, it will nearly be spring, and I'm sure that many of you will be glad to leave this winter behind. I've actually enjoyed having a proper winter this year with nearly enough snow to satisfy even me, but apart from the allergy season I will admit I’m looking forward to warmer temperatures.
