CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
No information is knowingly gathered or solicited at any time from children under the age of 14. There is no specific section of this website geared toward elementary and lower school grades, however, this website is believed to be a "safe surf" area. Personally identifiable information can only be gathered from a child if he/she chooses to personally email this website or subscribe to the newsletter. Any information submitted voluntarily to this website by a person deemed to be a child will be accorded the same confidentiality as that of anyone else. In no instance will this information be provided or sold to any other party. This policy is stated here in cooperation with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Rule.

No unsolicited email is sent from this website. This site has no means of harvesting email addresses from visitors. Email addresses received in personal correspondance will not be provided or sold to another party. Readers may subscribe to the monthly newsletter via an email which is sent directly to Jane Ellen. Readers may unsubscribe at any time by replying to the newsletter with the word "unsubscribe" placed in the subject line, or in the text. This site links to my Journal, or blog, which is powered by Wordpress.com. Any and all comments are left at the discretion of the reader; I reserve the right to delete any inappropriate comments. WEBDESIGN EXCELLENCE AWARD
This programme has been discontinued, but the winners' names remain archived. Winners of the award given by the JEOW for webdesign excellence agreed to have the urls of the winning websites posted on the Awards page, along with their first name and country of residence. No other personally identifiable information about these winners has been provided or sold to any other party.
